Extra Curriculars

Archery

          Most of our students compete at a high level in several archery tournaments throughout the year. Practices typically take place on Thursdays at the school provided range. Our students are always proud to take home medals. Nearly all grades are able to compete in this area.

Basketball

          Basketball is a favorite in our academy. We operate as a joint team with Granite Christian Academy in Wytheville, VA. Our team often travels to the many other schools who compete in the ODAACS organization. There is both a regular season, complete with finals, and an annual 3-on-3 tournament. This sport has been a great way for our young ambassadors to find fellowship with like-minded people their age.

Volleyball

          Introduced for the first time in 2022, ladies volleyball has been a hit. Our facility is equipped with regulation court and net. There is also plenty of seating in our elevated bleachers. We are currently in the process of training a squad to get involved in the ODAACS season. The ladies have already seen action in tournaments as far as KY and as near as Abingdon, VA.

Academic Competition

          ACE hosts two academic competition events. Regional Student Convention is held at the beautiful Wilds camp in Brevard, NC. International student convention hosts schools from all over the world to challenge one another after scoring high in Regional Student Convention. These weeks are always a tremendous highlight of the year.

Field Trips

          There is no shortage of field trips at Ambassador. Whether it be the local coffee shop, Java Blend, or a 3 day trip to NYFC in Lexington, KY, students will find themselves busy. Our philosophy revolves around preparing young people to venture boldly into the world as representatives of Jesus Christ.

Clubs

During the school year, students may sign up for several clubs. Each club meets once a month and offers an opportunity for new interests to be discovered and old ones to be developed. The current clubs are listed below:
